Chris Gordon is a big band trumpet player, a founding member of The Tuscaloosa Horns, and has performed on over 300 commercial advertisements. He’s performed in concert for 35 years with such acts as The Temptations, The Four Tops, The O‘Jays, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Barry Manilow, and B. J. Thomas among many others.

Chris has recorded with jazz and big band artists including “Lou’s Blues” – Lou Marini & The Magic City Jazz Orchestra, (Chase Music Group, 2001), “The New South Jazz Orchestra” – (NSJO, 2005), The Steve Sample Legacy Project – (JRL-SGS Records, Los Angeles, CA, 2016). He has recorded for the Temptations on their 2001 Motown CD “Awesome,” and for the United Artists band Korona. The Tuscaloosa Horns received a Bronze Star on the “Walk of Fame” of the Alabama Music Hall of Fame in 2017.
